How to Get HSA/FSA Reimbursement for NOVA Strong Services

Did you know that you can use pre-tax dollars to pay for your NOVA Strong services? If you’re an HSA or FSA holder, you can use those accounts to pay for your personal training or nutrition coaching with us.

What You Need to Get Your Reimbursed

Assuming you are already the holder of an Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through your health insurance or employer, all you need is a Letter of Medical Necessicty (LMN) in order to get your NOVA Strong Personal Training or Nutrition Coaching reimbursed to save your wallet.

There are two ways to get the LMN:

  1. You can request one from your doctor, citing that you plan to use our services to help improve your health.

  2. For less than the cost of a copay, you can work with our partners at TrueMed to receive an LMN by filling out a quick survey and meeting virtually with one of their providers. This is generally the faster and more recommended route.

How to Get Reimbursed

Unfortunately, our payment processor does not let us take payments directly from an HSA or FSA account, but don’t fear! Getting reimbursed is super easy.

All you need to do is submit your LMN and any receipt from NOVA Strong to your account administrator. Once received, you’ll be eligible for reimbursement and can enjoy as much as 30% off on your personal training and nutrition coaching.
